Data Collected
The COBADE application collects the following information from its users:
- Names
- First Names
- Date and place of birth
- E-mail address
- Phone number
- Meeting
- Marital status
- Occupation
- Profile picture
We collect this data from our users in order to personalize the app experience and enable visual identification within our community. This data is voluntarily provided by users when creating or modifying their profile.
Information that will appear on your public profile, such as your name, occupation, address and photo. You are not required to provide additional information on your profile. However, only add or post personal data in your profile that you agree to make public.
From time to time during your use of the application, we may need access to certain additional information such as SMS, image and contact list. Before accessing this additional information, we will ask for your explicit consent. Please note that even if you have given your consent, we only read transactional or promotional text messages and do not open, access or read any personal text messages.

Our application COBADE may collecte user images for various purposes, such as profiles pictures or content submission. Please be aware that any images submitted to our platform may be stored on our servers for future use. However, we do not share these images with third parties they are only used for internal purposes, such as improving our services and user experience, By submitting an image to our platform , you acknowledge and consent to our collection and storage of your image.
Data Sharing
We do not share user data with third parties without the user’s explicit consent. Certain data such as: names, profession, address and photo; may be visible within the COBADE community in accordance with user-defined privacy settings.
Use of Data
Personal data is collected by COBADE to allow you to identify the members of the association. They are collected and processed in the strictest confidentiality. The person responsible for processing Personal Data is COBADE, an Association whose head office is located in Bonamoussadi, Douala.
Your data is kept for the duration of subscription and use of the COBADE ACCESSS platform. They are kept until you withdraw your consent, after which they will be completely destroyed.
Personal Data is only intended for the processing of services offered by COBADE and is communicated, where applicable, to its service providers. In no way are they communicated to third parties for commercial purposes.
Concerning your personal data, you have the possibility by writing to the following email address: [email protected], to:
- Exercise a right of access to this data;
- Request that inaccurate or incomplete data be rectified;
- Request that your data be erased;
- Withdraw your consent at any time;
- To delete your account.
COBADE implements the legal, organizational, technical, software and physical measures necessary to preserve the confidentiality, integrity and security of Personal Data concerning you, and in particular to prevent it from being distorted, damaged or communicated to unauthorized persons.
Data Security
We implement appropriate security measures to protect collected data against unauthorized access, disclosure or alteration. This includes cryptography of data during transfer and storage.
Data Retention Period
The data collected is kept for as long as the user maintains an active account on COBADE. Users can delete or update their information at any time.
Deletion of Data and Account
Any COBADE member and user of the Cobade Access application can request the deletion of their account and data at any time. If you would like your account and data to be deleted from Cobade Access, please send us an email to [email protected] providing the account number and after verification the account and data will be deleted from the site within 10 working days.
Content embedded from other sites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Content embedded from other sites behaves the same as if the visitor went to that other site.
These websites could collect data about you, use cookies, embed third-party tracking tools, track your interactions with this embedded content if you have an account connected to their website.
